Fine dei cicli scolastici: come aiutare bambini e ragazzi a concludere i percorsi sospesi.

La fine dell’anno scolastico si sta avvicinando e alle già numerose preoccupazioni dei genitori e degli insegnanti se ne sta aggiungendo un’altra: come si può gestire la fine di un ciclo scolastico quando a scuola non si va e vengono meno tutti quei riti di passaggio che permettevano a bambini e ragazzi di “spiccare il volo” verso lo stadio di crescita successivo?

Avete presente le recite, gli esami vari, i lavoretti e tutti quei gesti e rituali di fine anno? Vi siete mai chiesti il perchè? Sicuramente per rendere partecipi i genitori di una parte di vita dei loro figli dalla quale parzialmente sono esclusi, ma anche e soprattutto per dare modo ai bambini e ragazzi di chiudere un percorso di crescita, raccogliere tutto ciò che ne hanno tratto e portarlo con sè nello stadio successivo.

E adesso????

Nessuna recita. Esami stravolti. Lavori di fine anno scombussolati.

C’è un grande, meraviglioso MA.
C’è un modo, anzi tanti, per aiutare i vostri figli/alunni a creare un rito di chiusura e di passaggio che li aiuti a concludere una tappa evolutiva a dir poco particolare e straoridinaria e prepararsi alla prossima, cosiccché non continuino a sentirsi sospesi in qualcosa di indefinito e che potrebbero portare con sè, senza sapere bene come gestirlo.

Una volta compresa la funzione dei riti di passaggio sarà sufficiente pensare altri modi di poterla assolvere, anche a distanza.

In particolare questo sarà importante per i più piccoli, che da un giorno all’altro non hanno più potuto vedere i loro compagni di scuola e che probabilmente non li ritroveranno in prima elementare o in prima media e primo liceo. Ciò che conta è aiutarli a raccogliere le esperienze fatte durante il ciclo scolastico, non solo a livello didattico, anche a livello realzionale, e invitarli, se vogliono, a condividerle.

Come? Ho una proposta per voi, dalla quale potrete prendere spunto per creare insieme ai vostri figli/alunni quella più adatta alla loro personalità e modalità di relazione.

Potete proporre loro di scambiarsi un disegno, un pensiero, una frase che rappresenti la propria esperienza di relazione con l’altro. Ognuno lascerà qualcosa di sè ai suoi compagni e ne riceverà una da ciascuno di loro, che potrà portare con sè come parte della propria esperienza di vita.
Si prenderà del tempo per entrare in contatto con i propri vissuti e con quella che è stata la sua esperienza di vita e di relazione a scuola, avrà modo di rifletterci [ognuno ad un livello congruo con l’età, ovviamente] e deciderà se e come condividerlo, in linea con quelle che sono le sue modalità di relazione, imparando anche a rispettarsi in questo. Estendete la proposta anche alle/ai maestre/i. Anche loro sono stati privati di un importante rito di passaggio, anche loro a fine anno, con i propri alunni, chiudono un cerchio, lasciano qualcosa di sè e portano con sè qualcosa di ogni alunno/a che hanno conosciuto ed educato. Anche per loro è importante creare un’alternativa che gli permetta di non rinunciare ad una reciprocità tanto preziosa.

Spero di avervi dato uno spunto costruttivo per accompagnare i vostri figli in questa fase cos’ particolare.
